India, June 4 -- Thug Life, starring Kamal Haasan and directed by Mani Ratnam, has been the talk of the town for a few days now, all thanks to statements made by Kamal Haasan, which triggered a row by pro-Kannada groups. With just a day away from the release, Kamal Haasan, who had said that Kannada was born out of Tamil and refused to apologise for his words, has decided to withhold the release of the film in Karnataka.
