India, Dec. 9 -- In February last year, director KM Chaitanya had spoken to OTTplay about his return to the gangster genre with his next directorial, Balaramana Dinagalu. Like his earlier Aa Dinagalu, this one too would be based on a true story set in 80s and 90s Bengaluru. Inspired by the stories of Agni Sridhar and Ravi Belagere, he developed a script about one character Balarama, a notorious rowdy-sheeter, who had a meteoric rise in the city's underworld and then disappeared. Vinnod Prabhakar plays the title character, while Bigg Boss Kannada Season 11 fame Vinay Gowda has a pivotal role.
