India, Feb. 13 -- Thakurmar Jhuli, meaning "Grandmother's Bag of Tales," is a classic collection of Bengali folk tales and fairy stories, compiled and published by Dakshinaranjan Mitra Majumder in 1907, featuring magical beings, brave princes, and moral lessons, becoming a beloved cultural touchstone in Bengali literature. It was also adapted into TV shows, which became popular. Now, a new Bengali mystery series, Thakumar Jhuli, starring Srabanti Chatterjee, is coming on Hoichoi.
