India, July 19 -- Telugu actor Venkat Raj who is popularly known as Fish Venkat and appeared in character roles, passed away on Thursday. The late actor was 53 at the time of death. Fish Venkat had succumbed to kidney-related illness that he had been battling for quite some time.
