India, Sept. 29 -- Madhur Bhandarkar's cult classic Chandni Bar, starring Tabu, is set for a sequel, Chandni Bar 2. The sequel is being produced by Sandeep Singh and directed by Ajay Bahl. Chandni Bar 2 will release on December 3, 2026, coinciding with the anniversary of the original film. The shooting will begin in mid-2026 in Mumbai and Dubai.

Producer Sandeep Singh has officially acquired the rights for Chandni Bar 2 under his banner. The sequel is scheduled to hit theatres on December 3, 2026. This will coincide with the 25th anniversary of the original.
