India, Aug. 13 -- In his next venture, Sunny Deol will veer away from his signature big-screen action roles, which we saw him in recent films like Gadar 2: The Katha Continues (2023) and Jaat. Once set for an OTT release, the actor's next film, Safar (a working title), will now be in theatres before year's end.

As per a report in Mid Day, rumour has it that Deol's conviction that this is one of his finest performances to date played a role in the decision. Shashank Udapurkar's Safar casts the actor in a role as a family man who decides to spend his life helping others.
