India, Aug. 13 -- Raj B Shetty debuting in Malayalam cinema as the antagonist opposite Malayalam superstar Mammootty in Turbo was massive news back in the day. Raj must have seen something in the role and film to sign up, one thought. But then, when the film came out, reviews were far from encouraging, with many also wondering why Raj chose to be a part of it, given that the role was rather flat and didn't offer him much to chew on.
