India, July 29 -- Su from So, the JP Thuminad directorial that has literally been taking the Kannada box office by storm since its July 25, 2025 theatrical release, had not finalized its post-theatrical rights before hitting movie halls. Actor-filmmaker Raj B Shetty, whose Lighter Buddha Films produced the film, had kept the making of the film so tightly under wraps, barring an initial social media post about its muhurtha, and began limited promotions with only days to go for its theatrical outing. In a pre-release media briefing, when asked about the OTT sales of Su from So, Raj had said that discussions were ongoing, but that no deal had been finalized.
