India, July 31 -- JP Thuminad had pitched the idea of what is now his debut Kannada directorial, Su From So, 6 years ago. Over the years, it has had several revisions, but the very first change, he says, is what gave it the tone and flavour it has today. Speaking to Cue Studio as part of the film's Malayalam dubbed version's release, JP said that when he gave actor-filmmaker Raj B Shetty a narration many years ago, the latter asked him to chop out 70% of what he'd written and to expand the remaining 30% as a full-fledged comedy. This change of direction is what has made the film what it is today, he says.
