India, Sept. 3 -- Venkatesh scored one of the biggest hits of his career with Sankranthiki Vastunnam, now streaming on OTT Play Premium. The family drama clocked just over Rs.300 crore at the box office and gave Venkatesh a much-needed respite in his career.

Sankrantiki Vaanam was released in January 2025, and since then Venkatesh did not announce any film until he locked his next with star director Trivikram Srinivas the other day. The film was launched with a formal pooja ceremony and will go on flo ors soon.
