Mumbai, Feb. 7 -- Sonu Sood has been in the news for the release of his film Fateh, a film that catapulted him to the league of action heroes. Just recently, a warrant has been sent to the Oshiwara police station, Andheri West, Mumbai, in which it had directed the officials to arrest Sood and present him before the court.

The person who had issued an arrest warrant against Sonu Sood was the court of Ludhiana Judicial Magistrate Ramanpreet Kaur, after the actor failed to appear despite multiple summons. It all started off with a Ludhiana-based lawyer Rajesh Khanna, who had filed a case against Mohit Shukla, in which he had alleged a fraud of Rs. 10 lakh, which was in regard to some investment in a fake cryptocurrency.
