India, June 23 -- Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par has managed to cross Rs. 50 crore at the Box Office over the first weekend. However, the movie stopped before touching Rs. 60 crore. If the film had crossed the mark, it would have recovered 2/3rd of its budget.

Aamir Khan's latest film Sitaare Zameen Par saw its highest growth on first Sunday i.e. day 3. The movie earned Rs. 29 crore according to Sacnilk, which is its highest so far. Unfortunately, missing the 0.1 crore, the movie could not recover 2/3rd of its budget over the weekend itself.
