India, Aug. 15 -- After much drama and hullabaloo, akin to a film plot, Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) presidential elections have culminated with actress Shweta Menon becoming the first woman president of the body. Not just Shweta, other key posts were also bagged by women - Lakshmi Priya became the Vice President, while Kukku Parameshwaran was selected as the general secretary.
