India, June 18 -- Kannada filmmaker Nagashekar's latest, Sanju Weds Geetha 2, the spiritual sequel to his earlier film Sanju Weds Geetha, released in theatres in January this year, but had to be withdrawn only 3 days later, following widespread complaints about inconsistencies in the narrative and lackluster screenplay, among others. The film team had explained that the issue stemmed from the fact that around 20 minutes of footage did not make it to the print that went to theatres, which they'd attach and re-release the film at a later stage.
