Mumbai, July 25 -- Writer-director Rumy Jafry was interrogated by the Mumbai police in connection to the Sushant Singh Rajput death case for 4 long hours. The filmmaker who was planning to make a romantic comedy with Sushant and Rhea in the lead, recorded his statement pertaining to the case in Bandra Police station on Thursday.

In an interaction with the Times of India, Rumi stated, "I went there at 3pm and left at 7pm. It took a long time because they questioned me about everything in detail."
