Mumbai, May 30 -- Veteran lyricist Yogesh Gaur passed away. He was 77 years old. The lyricist was known for a lot of songs that he had penned. The Rajesh Khanna starrer Anand's Zindagi Kaisi Hai Paheli was one of the most popular songs he had written.
His career began when filmmaker Hrithsikesh Mukherjee heard his song Kahin Door Jab Din Dhal Jaaye which he had written for LB Lachman and used it in Anand.
Another song that he penned and which continues to be a cult of sorts and still is Kayi Baar Yun Bhi Dekha Hai from the movie Rajanigandha that had Vidya Sinha and Amol Palekar in the lead roles. The song earned a national award for its singer Mukesh.
