Mumbai, May 21 -- Ranvir Shorey had been detained for 8 hours by Mumbai Police yesterday after he was seen travelling with his househelp. The actor had told the police that they were headed to a hospital where the househelp's wife was admitted because she was pregnant. He was still taken to the police station for violating lockdown rule and his car was impounded. He also alleged that officer-in-charge told him that child birth is not an emergency.
