India, June 11 -- Ramayana is one of the most-awaited projects of Nitesh Tiwari. The film stars an ensemble cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash in the lead roles. Scheduled to be released in two parts in 2026 and 2027, respectively, the film has been garnering a lot of attention ever since it was announced. Amid this, a recent report claimed that Priyanka Chopra was the first choice to play Surpanakha, the sister of Yash's Ravana in Ramayana.
