Mumbai, May 23 -- The entire country is reeling under the coronavirus and therefore a lockdown has been put in place by the government. As a result of which there are no new shows that are being produced for the TV. The studios are shut and no shoots are happening. The new releases of Bollywood too have been stalled and many producers are eyeing towards the OTT platforms for the release of their films.
In the midst of all this, the television world is replete with old shows from the 80s and the 90s. Out of all the shows, Ramayan has emerged to be a colossal winner. Yes, the show topped the TRP charts and has in fact even beaten the viewership of Game of Thrones!
