India, Dec. 9 -- The 1999 cult classic Rajinikanth-starrer Padayappa is all set to hit theatres once again. The film will re-release on December 12, to join the celebrations of Rajinikanth's 75th birthday and completing 50 years in the industry. Padayappa, which is close to superstar's heart, given it is his not only 25th film but also a story he had penned, Rajinikanth remembered and shared several anecdotes from the making of it. One such was about a certain technician who worked in Padayappa and looked down upon him and was a huge Kamal Haasan fan.
