India, July 17 -- The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, Private, has dropped an update on its release date today (July 17). The movie, which stars Indrans and Meenakshi Anoop in lead roles, will hit the big screen on August 1.

The main cast of the film had shared posters hinting at an update soon. Meanwhile, they posted a new poster revealing its title and characters played by Indrans and Meenakshi, along with a release date. If premiered on the said date, Private will run in theatres along with Arjun Ashokan's horror thriller, Sumathi Valavu, and Kathir's Malayalam film, Meesha.
