India, June 7 -- Kaaliyan, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, is a long-delayed project from Malayalam. Touted to be a period drama film, Kaaliyan is helmed by Mahesh Gurukkal. The film sparked excitement among fans after some online trackers said that the team will start shooting this year, with Prithviraj Sukumaran expected to join the shoot next year.
