Not only would we see the fresh pair of Kartik and Ananya, but we also wanted to see how Bhumi Pednekar would fare in this remake of the 1978 film. The film released yesterday and even clashed with Ashutosh Gowarikar's Panipat. But despite a clash, the film has proved to be Kartik Aaryan's highest opener.
Yes, the box-office figure is out and well, it is hopeful. The film has collected a good 9.10 crores on the first day of release. This is Kartik's highest opener ever and has toppled the opening collection of his last film, Luka Chuppi, which has collected 8.01 crores.
