India, Jan. 4 -- The Pongal clash is on amid Vijay-starrer Jana Nayagan and Sivakarthikeyan's Parasakthi. While the films come a day apart with Jana Nayagan coming on January 9, the films will be competing at the box office over the weekend, and the Pongal festive period. While there was much rumours regarding the clash and competition, and how Sivakarthikeyan film had advanced their release date from January 14 to 10, the actor addressed the issue at the Parasakthi audio launch recently. He explained why his film had to come along with Jana Nayagan.
