Mumbai, July 1 -- The Indo-China tensions have been simmering for quite a long time and now, India and China are engaged in a military standoff in Ladakh's Galwan valley. It was in the year 2011, that JP Dutta released the film Paltan. The Sonu Sood, Harshvardhan Rane starrer focussed on the 1967 Indo-China military clash along the Sikkim border but the film failed at the box-office.

The director of Paltan JP Dutta opened up about the relations of both the countries and why he feels Paltan was a story much ahead of its time and a story that needed to be told.
