India, Aug. 21 -- The election to select the next committee for the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) was one of the most keenly followed events in Malayalam cinema recently, that saw Shwetha Menon becoming its first woman president. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, who is a former AMMA president, recently spoke about the film body elections, promising support while also stating that it is not about whether men or women get to head the association.
