Mumbai, Aug. 18 -- After a thundering opening collection of Rs. 29.16 crores on the eve of Independence Day, the Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, and Taapsee Pannu starrer also made a clean sweep at the box-office on the weekend. The film managed to rake in Rs. 23. 58 crores at the box office which brings the total of the film to a whopping 70.02 crores.
Directed by debutant Jagan Shakti, the film received a mixed response from the critic, but the audience and especially the Akshay Kumar fans have lapped it up and how. Mission Mangal opened on Thursday with Rs. 29. 16 and went on to add another Rs. 17.28 crores on Friday.
