India, Dec. 25 -- Star Pravah is set to premiere Mi Savitribai Jotirao Phule, a new biographical TV show that brings the legacy of India's first woman teacher to screen. The Marathi show will also premiere on JioHotstar (via OTTplay Premium). The show follows the life of Jotirao and Savitribai Phule, who defied societal expectations at a time when education for girls was forbidden. The couple ignited a movement that redefined social justice and laid the foundation for a more inclusive India during the 19th century.
