India, July 27 -- Athadu is one of the biggest hits in the career of Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu. Released in 2005, Athadu went on to become a cult classic in Telugu cinema and was directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The film had new-age making and negative shades for the main lead, which was a rarity in those days, especially in Telugu films.
