India, Sept. 19 -- Mahavatar Narsimha, the massive hit animated film created by Ashwin Kumar, chronicling the leelas of the fourth incarnation of lord Vishnu, is now streaming. The 2 hour and 10 minutes long film, which released on July 25, had a successful 50-day theatrical run, following which it then dropped on Netflix on September 19 in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
Although the film was marketed as the tale of the fourth incarnation of lord Vishnu, it also details the origin of the third avatar, Varaha, who emerged from the nostril of Brahma to rescue Bhumidevi from the depths of the cosmic ocean, where the demon Hiranyaksha had kept her captive.
