India, Jan. 2 -- Lenin is Akhil Akkineni's new film, which has been in the making for quite some time. Following the debacle of Agent, Akhil has pinned all his hopes on Lenin, which is being backed by his father, Akkineni Nagarjuna. When the film was announced, the makers revealed that Sreeleela would play the female lead.

The PelliSandaD actress even shot for a few schedules but later walked out of the project due to date issues caused by delays in the shoot.
