India, Feb. 3 -- In the first week of February, 2026, there's a deluge of Kannada films in theatres, with at least 10 announced officially. How many of them will at least get bare minimum number of screens to reach audiences remains to be seen, with several of them not even publicising the release. The big one, of course, is Raj B Shetty's Rakkasapuradhol, while Daali Dhananjaya's production venture JC The University also hits theatres. On OTT, there aren't too many Kannada originals this week, but most of the Sankranti/Pongal films from Telugu and Tamil will begin streaming with Kannada audio.
