India, July 29 -- After the absolute drought of the first six months of the year, the Kannada film industry got the fillip it needed with films like Ekka, Junior and Su from So, two of which released on July 18, while the latter hit theatres on July 25 and is continuing to take the box office by storm. Such has been the Su from So effect, combined with the release of the animated film Mahavatar Narasimha, that Bandook, a film that received positive feedback has been struggling for shows.
