India, Feb. 4 -- Krishna Ajai Rao's first release of the year is Sarala Subbarao, a period romantic drama directed by Manju Swaraj, known for films like Shravani Subramanya, Pataki, among others. The film was meant to be an October 2025 theatrical release, but was then postponed and has now settled on its date with audiences. The team recently revealed the release date along with the trailer, featuring Ajai and Misha Narang, for whom Sarala Subbarao will mark the Kannada cinema debut. The film will hit theatres on February 12, 2026, in time for Valentine's Day.
