India, Sept. 3 -- Kothalavadi, a village drama starring Pruthvi Ambaar, Gopalkrishna Deshpande, Rajesh Nataranga, Kavya Shaiva, among others, hit theatres only a week after the Kannada comedy Su From So began taking the box office by storm. One of 4 Kannada film releases in the first week of August, Kothalavadi struggled to find good screens/shows and audiences. Kothalavadi was produced by actor Yash's mother, Pushpa Arunkumar, who alleged that her film was deliberately targeted by the distributor, whose production venture was still in theatres.
