The black-and-white series showcased the struggles of students who are preparing for IIT, which resonated deeply with audiences across India. The lead character Jeetu Bhaiya's (Jitendra Kumar) words have also inspired real-life youngsters. The third instalment of Kota Factory secured the seventh position on Netflix's Global Top 10 Non-English chart with 1.3 million viewership in the first week of 2024, prompting the streamer to renew the show for the fourth season.
