India, Oct. 18 -- The first single from Karuppu, the upcoming Tamil film starring actor Suriya in the lead role, is all set to be released very soon. A Sai Abhyankkar musical, the first song will be released on October 20, for Diwali.

We had earlier reported that actor Suriya will be headlining Karuppu. The film is written and directed by RJ Balaji, an actor-turned-filmmaker. While a release date for the film is yet to be announced, Karuppu's first single announcement has come. On Saturday, the makers announced that it will be out on Diwali, on October 20.
