India, Jan. 15 -- D54 is now called Kara. The movie team had announced the title of the film earlier on Thursday, coinciding with the occasion of Pongal. Starring Dhanush in the lead role, the film is written and directed by Vignesh Raja. Apart from the title reveal, a glimpse was also revealed.

The glimpse teaser begins with a rainy night, as Dhanush is seen escaping. Soon, we see cotton fields burning, as Dhanush's character gives a voiceover that talks about reaping their fruits, or weeds. As the time of harvest nears, the voiceover talks about fulfilling his responsibilities. Dhanush plays Karasamy aka Kara.
