India, Oct. 10 -- Kantara Chapter 1 is in the Rs 500 crore club after only a week at the worldwide box office and is the highest grossing Kannada film of 2025, with over Rs 100 cr coming from the original version. Despite these very encouraging numbers, though, Rishab Shetty's film's week-day collections across India have been on a steady decline. After the nearly 50% drop on the first Monday, it held on Tuesday, but has been dropping since then, with the second Thursday now the lowest total, at Rs 21 cr only, with every region contributing in single digits (cr) only.
