India, Jan. 9 -- In what may come a pleasant news for Vijay fans, the Madras High Court has asked the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to grant U/A censor certificate to Jana Nayagan, the upcoming Tamil film which was slated for release on January 9, Friday.

Jana Nayagan, the most anticipated Pongal release this month, was postponed from its release date January 9, after the makers failed to secure censor certificate from CBFC on time. The makers had approached Madras High Court, which on Friday directed CBFC to issue U/A certificate for the film.
