Mumbai, Sept. 20 -- A perturbed Hansal Mehta took to Twitter after his friend of many years Anurag Kashyap on Saturday even was accused in the Me Too movement of sexually harassing an actress who approached him for work. As these allegations yet again stirred the conversations sounding the Me Too movement in India many of the filmmaker's acquaintances vouched that the filmmaker was innocent and even claimed that in this case the Me Too movement has been misused for ulterior motives.
The City Lights filmmaker in a long thread penned his thoughts and said he's known Anurag since 1996 and they may never have agreed on many matters but he never saw him being someone who can sexually harass someone.
