India, Sept. 7 -- Ghaati marks the return of superstar Anushka Shetty to the big screen after a long gap. She was last seen in Naveen Polishetty's Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, which was a huge success at the box office. Ghaati has been directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and is an action drama revolving around a drug peddler played by Anushka Shetty.

The project was in the making for two years, but failed to generate hype, as Anushka did not promote it. The film opened with very low occupancy, and dull bookings led to poor numbers at the box office. Ghaati collected only Rs.2 crore...
