Mumbai, Feb. 19 -- Some weeks back, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi had run into troubles. A plea was filed against the film, and against Hussain Zaidi's Book 'The Mafia Queens Of Mumbai' from which the film has been adapted, by Gangubai's adopted son Babuji Rawji Shah. However, a civil court in Mumbai has now dismissed the plea.
Babuji Rawji Shah had appealed to a Mumbai Civil Court seeking restraining order against its publishing, selling and creating third party rights of The Mafia Queens of Mumbai. He has alsosought a permanent injunction against Bhansali from producing, directing or airing any promo of the movie. The court has now dismissed the plea.
