India, Oct. 15 -- Malayalam actress Mamitha Baiju shot to instant fame with the success of the rom-com film Premalu. But Mamitha has had no Malayalam releases since the Naslen-led film released in February 2024. Earlier too, there have been actresses who got better opportunities in Tamil and Telugu cinema after tasting success in Malayalam and seldom returned to their home industry. So is that the case with Mamitha too? But the young actress, who is now gearing up for the release of the Tamil film Dude, said that she got fewer offers from Malayalam after Premalu's phenomenal success.
