India, Jan. 27 -- Kannada actor Chandan turned director and producer for his film Flirt, which, by his own admission, hit theatres at the wrong time. Chandan released Flirt on November 28, 2025, a week in which it was 1 of 9 that hit theatres, while the previous week had 6, some of which had retained screens. If the overkill of Kannada films was not bad enough, the last week of November was also only days before Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar came along and took the box office by storm. There was no way that a small film like Flirt could have sustained, even with good reviews, reckons Chandan.
