India, Dec. 2 -- Dhurandhar is one of the highly-awaited films of 2025. After the trailer and posters' release, the film faced objections from the family of Late Major Mohit Sharma, the Ashoka Chakra awardee, as it was believed that Ranveer Singh's character is based on Major Mohit Sharma. The family filed a petition to block the release of the film. Following this, the Delhi HC ordered the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to consider the objections, and the Board re-examined the film and confirmed that there is no link to Major Mohit Sharma in Dhurandhar.
