India, Feb. 4 -- The much-anticipated announcement from the makers of D55 is here! With the team announcing their cast and crew in the recent days, on Wednesday, the makers affirmed that Malayalam actor Mammootty will be joining the team of Dhanush-starrer film.

We had earlier reported that Malayalam superstar Mammootty, last seen in Kalamkaval, will be joining the team of upcoming Tamil film D55. It is now official, with the production announcing the casting of Mammootty on Wednesday.
