India, Jan. 14 -- Pruthvi Ambaar is getting his first release of the year with Chowkidar, a film that's been censored and ready for release since last September. Directed by Chandrashekar Bandiyappa of Rathavara fame, Chowkidar is an emotionally-charged family drama that also sees Pruthvi in a more action-backed role. On January 14, the team released the trailer of the film, and revealed the date on which it will be in theatres. Chowkidar has been slated for a January 30, 2026 release in theatres.
