India, Oct. 29 -- Kannada filmmaker Shashank Talya's next, Brat, is a film for impressionable youngsters. He's clear that his target audience is the youth, but reckons that unlike his earlier Kousalya Supraja Rama (KSR), which was strictly for family audiences, Brat has a more universal appeal. Speaking to Kairam Vaashi prior to the film's October 31 release, Shashank explained. "Brat tells the story of a youngster from a lower middle-class family, who aspires for luxuries in life. This, of course, means that he needs money. How he goes about that and the fallout thereof is what the film is about. Once you tell a story for the youth, by default it becomes universal."
