India, May 31 -- Bhairavam is the official remake of the Tamil hit Garudan. Featuring Manchu Manoj, Nara Rohith, and Bellamkonda Srinivas in lead roles, the remake was directed by Vijay Kanakamedala of Naandhi fame. The makers did not leave any stone unturned and promoted the film very aggressively, and the result is evident with the decent openings.

As per the latest update, Bhairavam has collected Rs 3 crore net on day one of its release worldwide. This is an impressive number, and the makers are quite happy with the way the family drama opened. There is no big Telugu release this week, so Bhairavam will look to consolidate over the weekend.
